Watchlist for 6-9-2016 – $GEVO, $HMNY, $BSPM, $BLIN, $LBIO

Today’s Watchlist

Traded very cautious yesterday. And please with it. Will look to get a little more agrressive today, though not right at the open. Going to try and sit on my hands first 1/2 hour or only go in with starters then scale into winners.

Watchlist for 8-5-2015 – $EXEL, $AVXL, $OGEN, $GEVO, $OMVS

Today’s Plan:

Decent trades in $LXRX and $EXEL yesterday. Like usual I exited $LXRX before the big crack, but I was busy with other things and had an order in. I covered $EXEL in the afternoon begrudgingly for a small loss but in hindsight was a great cover. I’ve gotten so much better at not being patient with losers. BUT I still need so much work getting better with holding winners. $LXRX perfect example of that.

For today, I like all these setups, but will be diligent to wait for them to come to me. Refuse to chase today.

Exelixis, Inc. (EXEL) -NasdaqGS

Got squeezed out for a small loss by the “Cramer pump” yesterday. I entered based on the chart then realized it was on Mad Money. No big deal, hoping for pops today to get a better price.

Target $7.00

Anavex Life Sciences Corp. (AVXL) -Other OTC

This will be an epic short, but very crowded, 2/3rd’s of the traders I follow are watching it. I’ll short, but only on a big squeeze. If I miss I miss, not looking to get trapped then read the feed of these 2/3rds of guys crying…

Target: Starter @ $2.00 add’s at $2.50+

Oragenics Inc. (OGEN) -NYSE MKT

Give me one more pop.

Target: $3.50

Gevo, Inc. (GEVO) -NasdaqCM

This is dying, will try and scale in on pops.

Target: $3 for starter, then add to winner.

On The Move Systems Corp. (OMVS) -Other OTC

Low volume, but beauty of a chart.

Target: Starter @ $3.50 add to pops.

$GEVO – Trade Notes – 5-12-2015

Type of Trade: POS Rising from the dead.

Initial Entry: $5.00

Plan: Stop will be flexible, would like to swing this, I have smaller size. Think this fades for a while

Entry Notes: Waited for entry at $5.

Add Notes:

Partial Exit: $4.62

Final Exit: $4.64

Closing Notes: Shitty exit, but I did not expect a pull like that this quick, I’m betting this goes red and turns into death, but almost $500 in a few minutes and easy low stress I’ll take it.

Watchlist for 5-12-2015 – $PTBI, $ICLD, $VGGL, $GEVO

Today’s Plan:

Hmm, not really feeling these today, was hoping for a spike out of $PTBI, it looks dead pre, wanting spikes from $VGGL and it doesnt look to strong.

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

PlasmaTech Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (PTBI) -NasdaqCM

Was hoping for a push into $11, not looking likely, ideally it grinds up then spikes a little and gives me an entry. Assuming this will just be a watch till this afternoon.

Target: Push into $10

InterCloud Systems, Inc. (ICLD) -NasdaqCM

Tough to get borrows for me. Squeeze em out’. Push to $5.

Target: $5

Viggle Inc. (VGGL) -NasdaqCM

Shorted this and covered pretty smartly yesterday, then had a target at $4.25 would have been a good entry, but I just wanted it up more. Doubt it gets there but still $4.25 – $4.50.

Target: $4.50

Gevo, Inc. (GEVO) -NasdaqCM

Bummed on this miss yesterday. Probably dead meat but I’ll short pops.

Target: And good pops, $4.75’s-$5’s

Watchlist for 5-11-2015 – $ICLD, $VLTC, $PTBI, $YELP, $GEVO, $CALA, $TASR, $CHOP

Today’s Plan:

Running low on time, took the kids to school this morning. All these are my standard, short into pop’s strategy. I’ll post more detail if I get caught up.

$GEVO 5-7-2015 – Trade notes

Disclaimer: I plan on doing this on all trades going forward, to fight overtrading and help my growth and review. I had a lot more trades on $GEVO today but chose to work on this going forward. I had like 6 trades on $GEVO today and all unsuccessful (long and short) but as I look back I don’t really recall what my thesis was. Annoying, I HATE impulsiveness and lack of discipline, but I’m making simple little mistakes that can be cured with more forced thought. And by writing out every trade it will create that. Sure I might miss an entry by a little because of typing but oh well.

Type of Trade: Low float flyer

Initial Entry: $5.40 @ 13:28

Plan: Add into breakdown, stop at flat.

Entry Notes: Fought this all morning while not being patient on entries. Even tried long, frustrated that I never checked float pre market. Had I done that I would have moved my entries way up, especially considering the low float madness lately.

Add: $5.12 @ 14:19

Add Notes: Really feels like its finally over, its 2:30 morning hope is evaporated. Would like to add under $5.

Update: 14:41 cracked $5 but bounced slightly, still waiting for panic into close.

Partial Exit: $4.90

Final Exit: $5.13

Closing Notes: Gave it time, but was gearing back up through $5, was afraid the true believers would be back for an EOD push. In closing THIS was a good trade. All the others today not so much. Biggest bummer had I not made the mindless trades this morning, I would have a better attitude and probably be more likely to let this ride, for better or worse.
