Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

TransEnterix, Inc. (TRXC) -NYSE MKT

Tough for me to put a target on this one, so I’ll just go with the “higher the better” goal.

TRXC

Amedica Corporation (AMDA) -NasdaqCM

Target: $3.50’s yesterday’s highs

AMDA

EnerNOC, Inc. (ENOC) -NasdaqGS

Stupid oil and gas… Target way higher, $6’s

Neos Therapeutics, Inc. (NEOS) -NasdaqGM

Target: Secondary squeeze, $14’s

NEOS

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) -NYSE

INO

Watchlist for 1-27-2016 – $ENOC, $WTW, $KMI, $NXTD, $VHC, $SUNE

Today’s Watchlist

Pfft, fought $KMI all day yesterday, stupid oil stocks… Should have covered early for decent gains, but let it grind me back to even. Two lessons, 1. Just avoid stocks tied to something like Oil etc. 2. If you do trade them its got to be “Nail and bail” don’t get greedy.

Should be posting my “Part Time Trading” webinar later today.

EnerNOC, Inc. (ENOC) -NasdaqGS

“real” and oil and gas… But the chart keeps bringing me back.. I’m going to fight to not trade this, ideally there are other setups. But watching pops.

ENOC

Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW) -NYSE

Tought to not want to play the “Oprah pump” but most likely crowded, Ideally a squeeze early then a set risk late day fade.

WTW

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) -NYSE

Oil/gas, “real” blah blah, do my best to ignore.

KMI

Nxt-ID, Inc. (NXTD) -NasdaqCM

Target: Pop’s to $1.15-1.20

NXTD

VirnetX Holding Corp (VHC) -NYSE MKT

Watching small pops, $4.10-4.20

VHC

SunEdison, Inc. (SUNE) -NYSE

Target: $3.40-3.50

SUNE

Watchlist for 1-25-2016 – $TROV, $KMI, $GLNG

Today’s Watchlist

Blegh, spent all day fighting $KMI Friday, complete waste of time, stupid oil stocks…. Managed it ok by adding into pop’s, then covered for a minimal loss late day. I’m more annoyed by the six hours I spent vs the small loss. Would have much preferred just leaving to go fishing at noon instead of 3PM.

After that pointless waste of time, and today’s mediocre scan’s it’s gonna take something pretty interesting for me to make any moves this morning. Ideally something this afternoon.

Watchlist for 1-22-2016 – $TROV, $ZFGN, $KMI

Today’s Watchlist

Solid day yesterday, its Friday and I have plans to go fishing this afternoon. So I’m in no rush to expand my watchlist beyond a handful of stocks.

FYI if you attended my webinar yesterday, thanks!! But I goofed up and did not hit the record button on the webinar…. The plan is to “re-do” it in a private session, record it and post it soon.

TrovaGene, Inc. (TROV) -NasdaqCM

Was hoping for some pre market action in this. Looks pretty lame at this point. Choppy chart from yesterday. I only will short it higher. If it fades out of the gate I’ll avoid.

Target: Big pop’s/squeeze, towards $7.00

TROV

Zafgen, Inc. (ZFGN) -NasdaqGS

Thinking this fades in the afternoon after a morning spike. So not going to fit my schedule, but for sure watching big pops for further unwinding.

ZFGN

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) -NYSE

A little too “real” for me and tied to oil so annoying. But will look to short pops to $14.50 IF oil is weak.

Watchlist for 1-14-2016 – $LPTH, $ATV, $NHTC, $KMI, $FIT

Today’s Watchlist

Grr, funny how when you think it will be a boring day it ends up being a huge day. I was distracted and annoyed by what I perceived as lack of potential trades yesterday. Because of that I had lacked focus and was not ready to attack at the open.

No trades for me, simply because of lack of focus:

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

LightPath Technologies, Inc. (LPTH) -NasdaqCM

Target: Pops over $3.00

LPTH

Acorn International, Inc. (ATV) -NYSE

Target: $10.00

ATV

Natural Health Trends Corp. (NHTC) -NasdaqCM

Target: $23-$24

NHTC

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) -NYSE

Target: $13.30-$13.50

KMI

Fitbit Inc. (FIT) -NYSE

Pops, some sort of HOD reject ideally.

FIT

Anatomy of a very mediocre trade – $KMI – 12/31/2015

Hoping this will have some value. While this trade was a loser, but small, I feel like I managed it well. OTHER THAN just waiting around all day. That being said I traded my plan:

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) -NYSE Good trade yesterday. Will watch for pops around $14.80, add up to $15, with a stop around $15.25. This could pull hard if selling comes in.

Potential takeaways:

  1. Traded my plan and did not deviate.
  2. Waited for entry in the morning, did not chase, let it come to me.
  3. Added per my plan but did not get aggressive and “Try and make it work.”
  4. I logged to my trade journal through the day and kept my thoughts organized: See Below
  5. Biggest bummer was sitting in this all day. But I got a TON done on other projects. There were for sure other trades to be made but I committed to this one, and followed the plan.
  6. Other “bad” thing about this trade is this company is “real” and I should not be surprised it did not crack.

KMI

9:39 AM Shorted starter on $KMI @ $14.68, “kind of an accident” playing around with DAS settings and didn’t have “order confirm” turned on. Ok entry it was on a pop and was basically the plan.

10:22 AM Came close to adding, but Nat Gas inventories at 10:30, see how that plays out.

10:34 AM Nat gas numbers out and UGAZ pulling but KMI holding, wish I understood what these nat gas numbers mean….

10:38 AM added at $14.77, not super please with this, stop on $15.00

11:31 AM Running out of patience at $14.60 and Nat Gas is going up

11:44 AM Blegh pushing up with nat gas, still barely green, get ready to cut looks like not gonna work today. Perked above VWAP

12:07 PM $WTW lots of opportunities today, should have had more defined plan.

12:35 PM $KMI giving to much time, little pull in nat gas here. Still under my stop so technically I’m following my plan but just does not look like its working. Sooooo slow

1:46 PM At my stop but nat gas is fading, being stubborn, but basically at my stop, see if this goes anywhere $KMI

1:53 PM Added on Spike to $15, lower stop to $15.10

2:58 PM More blegh… At least I was busy getting lots of other stuff done, but holding this $KMI all day has been excruciating. Getting ready to exit, couple penny fade. Stop on $15.01 now or cover into ANY profits just to get rid of this thorn in my side.

3:30 PM Covered KMI, didn’t crack $14.90 not going to hold overnight (real company) and I’m not going to risk a spike into the close.

Watchlist for 12-31-2015 – $EARS, $WTW, $FXCM, $AVXL, $CMRX, $KMI

Today’s Watchlist

Considering I was away most of the day I was happy with yesterday. Nothing huge on $KMI, but at all day fade and a nice profit. $RWLK, $AVXL and $SUNE were killer from watch yesterday. I had all of these short over the last few days but took only portions of the potential. But again, I’m in cash every night this week, banked profits and have ZERO overnight risk/stress.

Market is open all day but it’s still a holiday plus obviously the last trading day of the year. I expect odd moves so will trade small.

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

Auris Medical Holding AG (EARS) -NasdaqGM

Thought about this around $5 yesterday, but it never really went para. Then thought about it a lot in the afternoon but it was basically sideways. Glad I avoided. Same plan today. Watching for a squeeze. It will most likely fade for days and days, but not my timeline.

EARS

Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW) -NYSE

I had good targets and plans on this, but considering I knew I would be gone 10AM-2PM I avoided. For sure short opportunities, but this continues to be tricky. I doubt I will short today, I thought about a long a couple days ago on the Oprah and New Years resolution hype in like the $19’s. Oh well…. My only real trade will be if it goes totally crazy/para, skipping dollars etc.

WTW

FXCM Inc. (FXCM) -NYSE

Thinking this is approaching backside territory. Will look to short pops, with risk on $20-21, small size obviously since this has range.

FXCM

Anavex Life Sciences Corp. (AVXL) -Other OTC

Great multi day short. I had this in the $7’s the other day… Sigh… Ended up a solid short yesterday but I never got the pop I wanted for entry. It did push to the $6’s but I was walking out the door, plus I just wanted it higher. Earnings are out, reports look ugly, this may finally die. Will watch for pops, though I doubt there will be any.

AVXL

Chimerix, Inc. (CMRX) -NasdaqGM

Thought about the “buy the washout” on this, would have been a solid play the other day. Good idea but again not on my timeline and not my type of play. Big investor news. If I get bored I may look to buy dips.

CMRX

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) -NYSE

Good trade yesterday. Will watch for pops around $14.80, add up to $15, with a stop around $15.25. This could pull hard if selling comes in.

KMI

Watchlist for 12-9-2015 – $PIRS, $KMI, $WTW, $TXMD, $EFUT

Today’s Watchlist

Good day yesterday. Yet again a busy day for me today. I need to focus on being more diligent in my schedule. Keep getting pulled away from trading. Good list today.

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

Pieris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PIRS) -NasdaqCM

Target: $3.25

PIRS

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) -NYSE

I almost bought this on pulls yesterday twice, both times would have been killer trades.. Down quite a bit pre market will hope for a washout to buy.

Target: Low $14’s

KMI

Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW) -NYSE

This had some pulls yesterday, but still not really acting to weak. Still same plan, watch for pops to scale into.

Target: $26’s

WTW

TherapeuticsMD, Inc. (TXMD) -NYSE MKT

Ok trade on this, though I entered too early, had an initial target at $9.80, but ended up shorting at like $9.20. Then adding later. Covered right before a crack below $9, but it bounced quickly. Had I stuck to my original plan would have been a great trade instead of mediocre.

Target: Low float so I want bit pops. $10

TXMD

e-Future Information Technology Inc. (EFUT) -NasdaqCM

Target: Pops over $14, mid to high $14’s
