Watchlist for 11-3-2015 – $AVXL, $EXAS, $VSCP, $FOLD, $CYTK, $EROS

Today’s Watchlist

Sooo many messy charts today, I had a couple shorts yesterday but let them both grind me out. Basically they just followed the market, edged up all day. Everything on scan is choppy and seems to be sitting right at breakouts. Though 99% of them will fail to breakout, it’s tough to really pick some to focus on.

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

Anavex Life Sciences Corp. (AVXL) -NasdaqCM

Of course this is on watch, but I just keep staying away till the backside. Of course it will probably collapse 50% out of nowhere, but I’ll keep waiting for true fading or possible a wicked squeeze out.

AVXL

Exact Sciences Corporation (EXAS) -NasdaqCM

Thought about this several times yesterday, but as mentioned above I recognized it was in “grind” mode and stayed away. Nice rush into the close.

Target: $10+ for a starter.

EXAS

VirtualScopics Inc. (VSCP) -NasdaqCM

Low float kept hugging red to green so I tried it long yesterday, lost like $50 bucks. Now that we are on to day 3 I’m short bias.

Target: High $4’s

VSCP

Amicus Therapeutics, Inc. (FOLD) -NasdaqGM

Another grinder, but looking for $9+ for entry.

FOLD

Cytokinetics, Incorporated (CYTK) -NasdaqCM

Target: Pop’s over $11 or fading later today.

CYTK

Eros International Plc (EROS) -NYSE

A loser yesterday, should have recognize the ABCD type grinding sooner, I waited till the afternoon to cut it. Need to be quicker when they edge up like that, my size was small so not the end of the world, just annoying.

Target: Big pop’s, thought this would collapse on the further bashing by Citron, but looks like maybe its down as far as its going to go.

EROS

Watchlist for 3-20-2015 – $MVIS, $AXN, $CRMD, $HZNP, $CNDO, $FOLD, $BDE, $CORT

Today’s Plan:

Way to many stocks on watch, all these are shorts on pops except $BDE, will look to fade that. I need to spend the next hour hashing out a plan though. Very all over the place with these setups.

CRMD

Watchlist 9-4-2014 – $ISNS, $SGOC, $VII, $HGSH, $ACHN, $LRAD, $MAGS, $FOLD

Finally back with another watch list after a Mule Deer hunting trip to Colorado.

Plan:

Obviously all the wearable camera companies are in play, I’ll be watching for fading action. I seem to say it a lot but going to work on really be patient today, especially at the open, after being away for a week my main goal is to get back in touch with the markets. I will not trade the first half hour no matter what. I’ll watch and build a workable watch list from pre market and the open.

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

ISNS

Looking to short into fading hype.

ISNS

SGOC

This looks to be a “real” deal with JD.com, so I will probably just watch.

SGOC

VII

Another security cam play, same comments as $ISNS

VII

HGSH

Made a decent profit shorting this last week but really missed the meat of the move, will be trying to use this bounce as another short entry.

HGSH

LRAD

Bummed I missed this a few times over the last couple weeks, getting awful choppy.

LRAD

MAGS

More Ferguson hype, will short into pops.

MAGS

FOLD

Biotech, so its scary, but looks way overextended. I’ll short pops but won’t hold overnight.

FOLD

Watchlist 8-27-2014 – $ACHN, $DGLY, $FOLD, $HGSH, $ISNS, $JRJC, $VII

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

ACHN

Will look to short under $12.

ACHN

DGLY

Doing my best to avoid this widowmaker, I keep following waiting for the Ferguson wearable camera hype to fade. I am short biased for sure, but very conservative on this one.

DGLY

FOLD

Pretty strong uptrend, I am short biased but thinking I may be falling for the perennial short trap of “its up so much it has to come back.”

FOLD

HGSH

Shorted this yesterday afternoon, looked like it was finally going to crack 3:15, but then it bounced, tight leash for sure, its very near the top and could push.

HGSH

ISNS

Same as $DGLY, Ferguson camera/surveillance hype, thought about shorting in pre, but one of my rules is to avoid shorting in pre market, stuck to that, plus I don’t like the idea of having two volatile stocks at the open. Hoping this runs to $5 then I’ll get short mid morning/afternoon.

ISNS

JRJC

Been wanting to trade this all week, but $IBKR has had borrows come and go, and as typical, when it is near a crack level the shares dry up. Oh well same as $DGLY, I’ll wait.

JRJC

VII

Made good money on this yesterday and played it well. Much like $ISNS, I thought about shorting PM, but I’ll wait. I drew a line at $5.10, thats my area of interest.

VII

Watchlist 7-3-2014 – $USU, $DRL, $CBAK, $CHNR, $FOLD, $STEM, $GLUU

Lots of pretty good looking setups today! But I HATE half days/holiday trading… Things frequently do the opposite of what you anticipate on days like this. I’ve had a good week so if I do trade today it will be small and infrequent.
