Watchlist for 2-19-2016 – $NHTC, $SONS, $GRPN, $QUOT, $GLUU, $FCX, $OCUL

Today’s Watchlist

Planned on just taking the morning off for a hunt yesterday but ended up not getting back till 3:30 or so, so no trades for me. But does not look like I missed anything too amazing.

Like this list of tickers, but going to definitely be a “reassess after 9AM” type day. Woke up and markets and oil were tanking, now everything seems to be bouncing, going to chill and wait for more of a direction.

Today’s List: Full list from Yahoo Finance

Natural Health Trends Corp. (NHTC) -NasdaqCM

Would loooove to long term short this, but no way I will, too choppy, but will watch for BIG pops, choppy choppy choppy, no chase no small pops for me. Especially on a Friday.

  1. Hey Tim,
Quick question about GRPN. I noticed you had a $4 alert in your scans, but believe you moved this alert higher (you mentioned in chat that you had an alert set, but $4 had already broken). At what point did you move the alert, and how high (I’m assuming the old support at ~$4.30)?
    Thanks
    JPI

  2. Correct, but I was up at $4.50, it was just grind grind grind, only way I’d short on a Friday afternoon is into a parabolic, had it continued to grind I probably would have move my entry even higher.

Basically my thought was only to short into a squeeze, if it just ticked up 10 cents an hour no way I’d short into that.

  3. Crap I thought you said GLUU….

Whoops, that was my plan on GLUU.

But GRPN was very similar it was basically in grind mode as well. Thought it failed pretty well in the afternoon.
